Politis Group Empowers Youth Entrepreneurship

At Politis Group, corporate social responsibility is not simply an obligation, it is a commitment. Through our integrated network of static and digital screens, we amplify initiatives that make a meaningful social impact. In this context, we were proud to serve as the Official Communication Sponsor of IDEA Factory, the entrepreneurship program of ACE / Athens University of Economics and Business.

IDEA Factory is a dynamic educational platform where students from universities across Attica participated in an intensive seven-day program featuring workshops, mentoring and experiential learning. Its mission was to transform innovative ideas into fully developed and actionable business proposals.

As part of our support, we offered visibility through our DOOH network, encouraging even more students to learn about the initiative and participate easily and instantly by scanning the QR Code displayed across our communication channels.

The President of Politis Group, Mr. Haris Politis, stated:

Politis Group & Municipality of Athens for the European Week for Waste Reduction

Politis Group, reaffirming its ongoing commitment to sustainability and the improvement of everyday urban life, proudly supports the Municipality of Athens in the framework of the European Week for Waste Reduction, taking place from 16 to 24 November 2024. This significant initiative seeks to inform and sensitize the public about the importance of minimizing food waste and embracing sustainable daily habits. The central message of the campaign is clear and impactful: “Don’t Feed the Waste!”

The campaign emphasizes the far-reaching environmental consequences of food waste and encourages responsible consumption. It advocates for thoughtful purchasing and consumption of food, creative reuse of leftovers, and the recycling of organic waste through composting. These practices contribute to reducing the environmental footprint and fostering a culture of mindful living.

To amplify the campaign’s reach, its key messages are displayed across Politis Group’s cutting-edge advertising media, including digital billboards located in high-traffic areas throughout Athens. These visual communications are designed to engage the public effectively and provoke reflection on everyday behaviors.

This initiative forms part of Politis Group’s broader strategic vision to support actions that promote sustainability and environmentally responsible practices. At the same time, it reflects the Group’s dedication to improving the quality of life in urban communities and fostering a future where people and the environment thrive in harmony.

The campaign is carried out in collaboration with the Directorate of Cleaning, Recycling and Mechanical Engineering of the Municipality of Athens, in partnership with EOAN – the Hellenic Recycling Organization, reinforcing a shared commitment to sustainable development and environmental stewardship.
