Politis Group, welcomed Christmas, a favorite holiday of young and old, with a rich program of actions.
Welcoming for yet another year the Christmas spirit and wanting to meet immediate needs in food and essentials, the Group and its people offered gifts of love and abundant joy to those in real need!
This holiday season, Pride 98.6 enlisted its producers for a good cause by organizing a great chain of solidarity!
The radio producers took on a specific love action and managed to secure food and cook together with the group The Other Human (O Allos Anthropos)!
Sfera 102.2 radio station
On Thursday, December 15th, the producers of Sfera 102.2 Elina Papila and Thanasis Passas visited the SOS Children’s Villages in Vari and together with the children they were transformed into confectioners for one day.
The reason? To create, under the guidance of the distinguished pastry chef Christos Vergados, the most special Christmas sweets for the children.
In addition, on December 22nd , Politis Group donated turkeys and oil to the Holy Church of Agia Fotini Ilisos for families and people in need. The company stands in support of the work of Father Maximos, putting into practice the spirit of solidarity of the days.
Finally, Politis Group donated sweets for families to the Municipality of Athens and specifically to the Municipality’s Reception & Solidarity Centre. A total of 264 packets of sweets with melomakarona and kourabiedes were distributed to families with children and families of the Citizens’ Solidarity Hub single or large families.
The action took place on December 22nd at the premises of the K.Y.A.D.A. at Larissa Station, where Mrs. Melina Daskalaki, President of the Reception and Solidarity Centre of the Municipality of Athens, and Mr. Yannis Vikas, IOT Project Manager & Public Affairs of Politis Group, were present.
Politis Group, recognizing its responsibility towards society and fellow citizens in need, put the concept of “giving” into practice.
