During the weeks before the Athens Classic Marathon, OPAP as a major sponsor, launched a mobile app that counted people’s steps. For every step counted, the company offered a specific amount of money to Agia Sofia – Paidon hospital.

In order to further promote this CSR initiative, Politis OOH Media dressed all the wrap shelters at Syntagma square in the center of Athens under the “steps’ concept”. In the same time, the company created two digital panels that – by using data from all around Greece – showed in real time the money gathered from each step the users were taking.

During Xmas time, Outdoor Advertising integrated Augmented Reality in a really fresh and amusing way, as Vodafone teamed up with Politis OOH Media to bring Christmas traditions and customs into ‘life’!

Based on augmented reality, the vertical panel of the wrap shelter in Ampelokipoi Metro Station transformed into an AR display that was being controlled in real time and was able to project believable Xmas related scenes (using various design layers and elements), that left hundreds of people - waiting for the bus or passing by - stunned.

Have you ever wanted to be part of a movie poster? During the nation-wide promotion of the movie ‘300: Rise of an Empire’, Politis OOH Media introduced an innovative way to…liven up the waiting on the bus shelter by incorporating unsuspected people into the movie poster displayed on the digital panel.

A nearby technical crew was editing the photos taken on real-time, while the selected photo elements were integrated into the digital poster via a wireless feed, making the whole project an instant success and boosting users’ engagement towards the new movie.
